The Dallas Cowboys visit the Green Bay Packers in Week 6 on Sunday, Oct. 18 at Lambeau Field. Kickoff is 7:20 p.m. Central on NBC, with Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth and Melissa Stark on the call.
The series
The Packers lead the regular-season series 17-13-1. The teams first met on Nov. 13, 1960. In the last three regular-season games, Green Bay won 34-24 at AT&T Stadium in 2019, won 31-28 in overtime at Lambeau in 2022, and in 2025 the two teams tied 40-40 in overtime at AT&T Stadium. They have also played nine playoff games, from the 1966 and 1967 NFL Championship Games through the 2023 NFC Wild Card game.
Where each team stands
Dallas is 2-3 and third in the NFC East in Brian Schottenheimer's second season. The Cowboys lost 28-20 at the Giants, beat Washington 37-20, lost 34-31 to Baltimore in Rio de Janeiro, won 34-30 at Houston and fell 24-16 to Tampa Bay in Week 5.
Green Bay was 2-2 through Week 4 under Matt LaFleur: a loss at Minnesota, an overtime win at the Jets, a loss to Atlanta and a win at Tampa Bay. The Packers' Week 5 game was against the Bears on Oct. 11.
The tailgate
At Lambeau, the tailgate is brats, snow in the forecast and a stadium sitting in the middle of a neighborhood. The Lambeau Lots fill the surrounding streets. Dallas fans know a different scene: Lot 14 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington is acres of asphalt outside the biggest building in football.
What to watch
Dallas has lost three of its first five, one of them in Rio de Janeiro. And the last two regular-season meetings between these teams, in 2022 and 2025, both needed overtime.
