Aclip’s incredible exchange of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier after their fight following their meeting at UFC 242 is making the rounds on social media once again amid the controversy surrounding Conor McGregor.

Earlier this week, Dustin accused Poirier McGregor of failing to fulfill his pledge to donate $ 500,000 to the American charity The Good Fight Foundation, which helps fund food insecurity, health care and disaster relief for the disadvantaged in its hometown in Louisiana.

‘The Diamond’ publicly revealed his opponent on Twitter for non-payment, meanwhile McGregor quickly reacted furiously to Poirier, exploiting the fact that they would have a third battle as part of the reason behind his thinking.

The former two-time UFC champion also responded by saying he would not give because he was not told how the money was used.

McGregor and Poirier were due to repeat for the third time at UFC 264 in Las Vegas on July 10, but it looks like there might be skepticism after the Irishman says his trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier has come ended.

Amidst controversy, a clip of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s conversation after the fight with Poirier went viral.

The Russian maintained his unbeaten streak at UFC 242 when he managed to wrestle in backstroke and retain the UFC lightweight championship.

Khabib then went on to wear the former lightweight champion’s jersey temporarily after the fight and promised to sell it and donate all the money to The Good Fight Foundation.

Nurmagomedov kept his promise and donated $ 100,000 to the foundation. In fact, UFC president Dana White matched his gift.

Poirier was delighted with the money raised by Khabib and White and said it will “help a lot of people”.

He told MMA Junkie: “I’m proud of it. I appreciate that they have helped the charity. It’s grown and I’m very grateful for it.
